Event #12: Understanding Video Analytics
December 6, 2016 / 1pm-2pm EST
Video Analytics started out as "Video Motion Detection". There are, however, several prominent factors that separate simple video motion detection and video analytics. This session is designed to act as an overview of the various types of video analytics that are available, how they might be applied to a system or view and what minimum requirements may or may not be needed to insure successful applications.
Imagine a video system installed at your premises that could automatically pick your face out of a crowd and create an appropriate event to be reviewed or used in a security function. This is facial recognition, as everyone knows, but do you know and understand the requirements and functions needed to put this technology to work for you? Imagine an outside environment where the wind, rain, snow, dust, smoke and/or fire are potential concerns or problems … now imagine a digital video review system that would continuously monitor tens of millions of live video images and "learn", through artificial intelligence the difference between those factors listed above and actual, notable, security issues that had to be prescribed and programmed.
This is a live webinar event. You will receive confirmation and login information for the webinar within one business day of your order. Space is limited and seats are available on a first come, first served basis.
